Brings the world of work alive in your classroom

The Times is reporting that more and more students are applying for careers in nursing and the caring professions. Numbers are up by a third this year – with 60,000  applying to study nursing, according to the university admissions service UCAS.

Ruth May, the chief nursing officer for NHS England, said: “During COVID the level of interest in working for the NHS has trumped lots of other career options and that speaks volumes about how people recognise our profession.”
