Brings the world of work alive in your classroom

Welcome to The WOW Show

The WOW Show is an online channel creating real-life encounters with the world of work to inspire young people about their futures.

We are proud to have been named Careers Provider of the Year by the Careers and Enterprise Company and the Gatsby Foundation at the annual Careers Excellence Awards.

Our special shows shine a spotlight on different industries and sectors and the career opportunities and pathways they offer young people. These range from live-streamed events as a shared learning experience to Assembly-tailored programme formats and FaceTime-like Q&As (CareersCast) where students can quiz employers directly. Each Show is supported with lesson plans authored by teachers for KS3, KS4 and KS5.

Our film-making and story-telling has also been recognised with a Gold Award at the creative industries’ London Film Awards.

Just released – classroom Careers Guide resources are here

We take you behind the scenes to meet young people starting out on their careers as Allied Health Professionals – a dedicated team who make a real difference to people’s lives.

The Guides come with comprehensive teaching resources for teachers and students designed for home schooling – or in the classroom.

They’re a perfect introduction for students who may be considering a career in health. And students can qualify for an official NHS certificate to add to their Personal Statements.

What you say about us…

Appeals to students

‘I think one of the strongest things about the show was highlighting the different jobs and creating an opportunity to have discussions with kids to break down misconceptions. This creates high levels of engagement and really appeals to students. It would do really well within our career programme.’
